It all began in 1960 when TK Equipment started manufacturing light construction equipment to the construction industry. Throughout the years, TK’s designs and quality have allowed us to market our products worldwide into 35 different countries. The history of the Belle Group dates back to the 1950's when founder Doug Blackhurst wanted to buy a cement mixer to help build his new house. No small portable cement mixers existed, so he set about designing one. The result is the now famous Belle Mini Mixer. From his own initial use, Doug started manufacturing the Mini Mixer for local tool hire shops at a time when tool and plant hire services were just beginning to develop for the building and construction industry. This fast expanding tool hire business added to the growing demand.

Belle has extensive experience of designing and operating machinery in Europe and around the World, ensuring the highest quality standard and conformity to health and safety requirements. All Belle machines are in conformity with EC legislation, on specific safety issues such as hand-arm vibration levels, as well as on noise levels and other security standards. Belle is also a very eco-friendly company. All units sold in the United States meet and exceed EPA and CARB standards.

Puma air compressors are built in the USA with quality materials. All gasoline models sold by Tidewater Power Equipment Company are powered with Honda GX series engines.
